General Testing Instructions – 3A Covid Testing

“Your order has been received” email implies that we are preparing your order for dispatch, this is followed by another email – “your order is now complete”. You will then receive a shipping notification from our delivery partners Royal Mail or DPD, with further delivery information.

The “order is now complete” email has the booking invoice attached as a PDF document. Your booking reference number can be found in the PDF document. Always review your order confirmation emails.

Uploading Your Results

Complete sections of the form, start your test when you are on the Upload Result page. Set your timer, after 20 minutes is up, take a picture of your test cassette next to a valid international passport or photo ID and the unique test kit number. Your photo must be taken and uploaded within 10 minutes of your timer ending. Anything uploaded after this time will not be verified as per strict Government guidelines. Ensure the entire test cassette and the result lines are visible and can be read.

Receiving the Verified Test Results

Our control officers will verify your test result and a test certificate signed by a qualified medical professional will be sent via email. This process takes less than 4 hours

Please dispose of your swab and tube carefully using the plastic waste bag provided.

How to take an Observed Lateral Flow Antigen test

“Your 3A Covid Testing order has been received” email contains the link you will require to book your video observed testing.

Key Information

Use the appointment application to select an appropriate date and time for your video observation session. If you are taking fit to fly test, ensure you schedule your video call within the testing window required by the destination.

Please have a form of identification ready to show our Healthcare Assistant during your video call. Follow the instructions on how to upload your result through our portal. Write on the cassette the date, time the test was taken, and the reference number from the Health care assistant. Use UK Time format and set a timer for 20 minutes for the result to set.

Ensure you have booked your appointment for a time when you are sure you will have your test kit. Please note that if you do not have your test kit, we will not proceed with the video consultation.

Please do not open the test kit until you are on the video consultation with our Healthcare Assistant – the session will be used to take you through the process. The date and time you recorded for your test is the exact date and time that must be entered in the fields for Date Sample Taken and Time Sample Taken.
