The Champs-Elysees (meaning “Elysian Fields”) being the most spectacular thoroughfare of Paris, it runs west from the Place de la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle-Etoile (formerly called the Place de l’Etoile). All of the major civic celebrations in Paris take place along this avenue. Elegant gardens occupy the first few blocks of the Champs-Elysees, The Grand Palais and the Petit Palais are located on the south side of the avenue. Its most famous building is the Elysee Palace and is the residence of the president of France.

This is a nice, short fall drive that begins on the edge of Downtown Asheville. Near Charlotte Street, Town Mountain Road ascends to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This drive takes leaf peepers through mid-level elevations, where peak foliage usually occurs the 3rd week of October. It’s a short drive that may take one to two hours (depending upon the number of stops) and a pleasant way to see the mountains just above the City of Asheville.

And if you need an item that’s classified as a dealer-only part, you could easily be looking at thousands of dollars for the replacement.
